What I mean, is that - I open the BF2 file to test the mic, and it doesn't register anything when I try and get a sound level. Like it doesn't recognize it.
Since I moved, I haven't been able to find the original MoBo disc. I know it's packed somewhere REAL SAFE.
I think if I had that I might be able to use the on-board sound.
It's here somewhere.............

Might have figured it out- but as it's halloween, I'll get to it later.
The front panel mic input is mic2(no boost)-- the rear mic input is mic1(with boost).
Probably make a difference. But I'll have to get behind my machine  :(
